Surface Acoustic Wave Type (SAW)
SAW type touch screens work by detecting sound-waves that are created and detected by transducers and received placed on the corners/edges of the substrate. These touch screens support up to 4096×4096 resolution and suitable for longer lifetime. It is possible to operate these touch screens by bare or gloved fingers as well as a stylus.
