Projected Capacitive Touch Screen (PCAP / PCT)
These touch screens have a stack of electrodes; one has x axis (columns) and other y axis (rows) coordinates. Together these two layers form a matrix of x and y axis. Further with a human touch, electrostatic capacitance between x and y axis sends signals to the controller to detect the sensing based on an algorithm.
