Infra-Red Touch Screen
These touch screens use light-emitting diodes and sensors that are places on the edges of the substrate. The light emitted by diodes and sensed by sensors form a grid/matrix. A touch is sensed and its location is known when the grid is broken when a finger or stylus is placed. These touch screens offer multi-touch function and has higher accuracy with much faster response time. Due to its structure, it is easy to deploy these touch screens on a much large surface or display.
