Highness Microelectronics Ltd signed MoU with BITS Pilani for Technology Transfer, IP Assignment and Setting up Research & Centre of Excellence

The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor of BITS Pilani Prof V. Ramgopal Rao and Managing Director of Highness Microelectronics Ltd Mr. Gaurav Kejriwal. The ceremony was attended by Col. Soumyabrata Chatraborty (Retd.) – Registrar, Dr. Sachin Belgamwar – Associate Professor, Rajneesh Kumar – Head of Technology Transfer and other members of faculty at the institution.

The MoU enables an extended partnership between the industry & educational institution covering various aspects such as-

● Addressing real-world industry challenges through joint research initiatives.
● Engaging with students to develop long-term technological solutions.
● Leveraging government support for funding PhD students working on industry-driven research.
● Utilizing BITS Pilani’s practice school component to provide industry internships.
● Mapping the company’s problem statements to relevant faculty expertise at BITS Pilani.
